The online shopping giant Amazon opened its first physical
store in Seattle, Washington in early 2017. It’s called Amazon Go.
With Amazon Go, you can walk into the store, pick out the items you want, and then leave without having to check out.
All
you have to do is download the
Amazon Go app,
which connects to your
Amazon account. The store is able to detect which products
are being taken or returned to shelves, and when you walk out of the store, Amazon charges the products you have with you to your Amazon account and sends you a receipt
afterward.
Amazon Go works
because of a combination of artificial

sensor data, which are all
similar to the technology used

題
If you’ve ever traveled to another part of the world, you’ve
probably experienced jet lag. When you pass into a different time zone, your body gets confused. You may feel like sleeping, even though it’s only 2 p.m. in the place you’re in. This can lead to tiredness,
headaches, and even depression.
Drug companies have
spent years trying to figure
out a cure for jet lag
with limited success.
There
are
some
options available
that can
help
fight the symptoms of
jet lag, but
there’s no miracle cure.
If you’re having trouble staying awake during the day because of jet
lag, you can try taking medications that will make you more alert. These types of
drugs were developed to help people who work midnight shifts adjust to regular
hours. People who travel often for business also use them to fend off the tiredness caused by jet lag.
A more common problem associated with jet lag, though, is not being able
to fall asleep at night. For these situations, many travelers turn to sleeping pills.
These work fast, and won’t make someone too drowsy the next morning. However,
sleeping pills usually only work for a few hours, which isn’t enough for a restful
night’s sleep. If you need something stronger, you can talk to your doctor
about anti-anxiety medications, which relax a user more than sleeping pills.
