who/whom/which/that...
說明：1. 關係子句又稱為形容詞子句，置於先行詞之後，用來限定、修飾先行詞。此句型為關係子句的限定用法，先行詞和關係代名詞之間不可加逗號。作為限定用法的關係子句不可省略，否則整句意思會不完整；但若關係代名詞為受格時，則可省略之。
2. 先行詞為人的時候，以who或whom作為關係代名詞。而who在關係子句中代替主詞，whom則代替受詞。
3. 先行詞為事物的時候，須用關係代名詞which，在關係子句中可當主詞或受詞。
4. that通常可用來代替限定關係子句中的who、whom和which，但前面有介系詞時，就不可以that代替。

說明：1. 此為表地方的副詞片語 (Adverbial Phrase) 置於句首的「倒裝句」句型，以強調副詞的部份。此句型中，若主詞為一般名詞，須將動詞置於主詞之前，以形成倒裝。
2. 注意，主詞若為代名詞，則主詞和動詞不需倒裝，也就是與直述句的語序相同。

1. At the finish line stood a man who looked very proud. (終點線上站著一位看起來非常驕傲的男人。)

說明：1. remember加上to V意為「記得要……」，用來提醒他人要記得做某件事情，此情況下的動作尚未發生。
2. remember加上V-ing則為「記得已經……」，表示記得已發生過的某個動作。

5. no matter how + Adj/Adv + S + V...
說明：1. no matter後接疑問詞以形成從屬連接詞，用來引導副詞子句，表示「無論……，不管……」。此句型為no matter 加上疑問詞how所引導的副詞子句，how後面接形容詞或副詞，表示「無論多麼……」之意。
2. 「no matter + 疑問詞」的結構亦可用「疑問詞
+ -ever 」代替。所以，no matter how = however。
