◎敘述體的定義及結構 Definition and structure of a narrative paragraph

敘述性文體 (Narration) 主要用於描述一個事件發生的經過，或陳述某件有意義的事情；就像說故事一樣，需要將細節情形描述地栩栩如生，讓讀者覺得有意猶未盡的咸覺。作者可利用敘述性文體 (Narration) 來告訴讀者到底發生了什麼事。下筆前，先問問自己 (1) 這些敘述的事情跟文章主題有沒有關聯? (2) 如何才能有效地將事件描述出來？寫敘述性文章時，記得要直接切入主題，製造高潮點 (climax)，吸引讀者的注意，並善用生動的字眼將情節描述清楚。切勿提及無關緊要的事情，以免讓讀者覺得無趣。

My trip to Rome in August 1999 was not my first time abroad, but this unforgettable trip helped me realize something about life.

I also saw some street performers dancing and playing musical instruments. They were so amazing. I couldn't believe that I had witnessed a murder. Later, people gathered together gossiping. The police came to investigate the murder and I told them what I had seen. I didn't know whether the murderer was arrested; however, this terrible experience taught me that life could be over at any moment and it could be really dangerous to go out late at night. It's safer to stay at home when it 's dark.  Concluding sentence (結論句)

I had a terrible dream last night. The nightmare seemed so real; therefore, I can remember everything that happened in my dream. It was about the outer space.
